1
Start with the local tools
Open Plant ID and use Built-in Plant Matcher to search by plant name, type, or care need. Open Plant Doctor and choose the clearest symptom in Built-in Health Check. Both work without an account, internet connection, or API key.
2
Compare the reference
Open the Plant Library from Tools to compare real plant photos, care fields, common pest signs, and nutrient symptoms. Add a personal photo to a library guide if you want your own plant represented.
3
Use the practical tools
Create care reminders, track seed inventory, record journal entries, use Plant Pulse for recovery notes, and organize grow areas in Zone View. Your garden records stay on your device.
4
Choose an enhanced scan only when needed
If the built-in reference does not cover a plant or condition, you may add your own Plant.id or Pl@ntNet key for an external photo identification. Add an Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini key only if you want an AI care profile, photo second opinion, or AI chat.
5
Understand photo privacy
When you choose an enhanced scan, the image goes directly from your device to the provider you configured with your own key. Ghost Logics does not proxy the request, collect your key, or receive your photo.
Plant health guidance helps you make informed care decisions, but does not replace local agricultural, veterinary, or professional horticultural advice.
