Our Core Commitment
Ghost Logics built PlantSense Pro on a simple principle: your plant data is yours. We have no interest in collecting it, no infrastructure that receives it, and no business model that depends on it. This policy explains what stays on your device and what leaves it when you choose to use optional third-party AI features.
What Stays On Your Device
By default, data you create in PlantSense Pro is stored locally on your device. This includes:
Ghost Logics never receives this information. None of it is transmitted to Ghost Logics or stored on Ghost Logics servers — we have none for this app. It lives on your device, under your control, unless you use an optional feature that sends content to a provider you configure (see Sections III and IV).
API Keys & Third-Party Services
PlantSense Pro optionally integrates with third-party services for plant identification, health diagnosis, and AI chat. These services require API keys that you provide.
Visual plant identification from photos you capture in-app.
Plant Doctor vision diagnosis and AI chat, using the provider you select in Settings.
Your API keys are stored in your device's secure enclave (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Ghost Logics never sees, receives, logs, or has access to your API keys.
When you use Plant Identifier, Plant Doctor, or AI chat, PlantSense Pro sends your photo or message directly from your device to the provider you configured, authenticated with your key — never through a Ghost Logics server. We are not in the loop. Those providers process requests under their own privacy policies. Please review Anthropic, Kindwise / Plant.id, and the policies for any other provider you enable (including OpenAI, Google Gemini, and PlantNet).
Camera & Photo Access
PlantSense Pro may request access to your camera and photo library for:
- Plant identification — photos are sent directly from your device to the plant ID service you configured (Plant.id or PlantNet)
- Plant Doctor — photos are sent directly from your device to the AI vision provider you configured (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini)
- Journal entries — images are saved locally on your device
Ghost Logics never stores, receives, or processes your photos on any server. Camera access is only activated when you explicitly initiate a scan, diagnosis, or journal entry.
What We Do Not Do
Ghost Logics does not:
- Collect, store, or receive your personal information, photos, journal content, or API keys
- Use ad tracking, behavioral analytics, or user profiling
- Sell, rent, or share your data with any third party
- Require account creation, login, or registration
- Embed analytics SDKs (no Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar)
- Store any of your data on Ghost Logics servers — we have none for this app
- Track your location or movement for analytics or advertising
- Send push notifications without your explicit permission
Optional Identify, Doctor, and AI chat features send content you choose to submit directly to the third-party provider you configured — not to Ghost Logics, and not via Ghost Logics.
Children's Privacy
Ghost Logics does not collect personal information from anyone — children or adults — through PlantSense Pro. Because Ghost Logics receives no user data, there is no Ghost Logics data handling specific to users under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction).
If a child uses optional Identify, Doctor, or AI chat features, content is sent directly to the third-party provider configured with an API key, under that provider's policy. The app is safe from a Ghost Logics data-collection standpoint for all ages; adult supervision is recommended when enabling third-party AI features.

PlantSense Pro is provided for informational and hobbyist purposes only. Plant health assessments, diagnoses, and care suggestions generated by AI integrations are not professional horticultural advice.
AI-generated diagnoses are suggestions, not certainties. For serious plant disease management, agricultural decisions, or professional growing operations, always consult a qualified horticulturist or agronomist. Ghost Logics accepts no liability for decisions made based on information provided by this application.
Changes to This Policy
Ghost Logics may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the revised policy will be published at ghostlogics.com and noted in any future app update release notes, with an updated effective date.
Because Ghost Logics collects no personal data, changes will generally reflect updates to optional third-party features or clarifications to this language — not a change in Ghost Logics' practice of collecting nothing.
Continued use of PlantSense Pro after any changes are posted constitutes your acknowledgment of those changes.
